University of Iceland (UI) is proud to offer all students equal opportunities to study in accordance with the UI Equal Rights Policy and UI regulations. If you are in need of specific assistance during studies and/or exams please read the information and guidelines offered about these services.
The University Student Counselling and Career Centre is responsible for organizing services within the University of Iceland for students with disabilities and learning disabilities, see Regulation on disability services for study at the University of Iceland.
To apply for disability services it is necessary to make an appointment with a counsellor and bring documentation issued by a qualified specialist describing the type of disability in question and how it affects you as a student. If you need special assistance in your studies it is very important that you contact our office with good notice, preferably a few months before studies begin.
